Characters
Our World
Mia White is the main character of Shadowbinders. She is a 17-year-old student facing typical high school issues: crushes, friends, and bullies. Mia loves antiques and unusual objects. One day, her grandmother gave her a puzzle box that contained an unusual ring. The ring cannot be removed, but it gives her the ability to travel between two worlds.
Michael White is Mia's younger brother. He's twelve years old, and in typical younger brother fashion, he loves to annoy Mia.
Chris Shields is the school golden boy. Good-looking, kind, athletic, and smart, Mia has a huge crush on him.
Brianna Anderson is the typical “mean girl” of West End High School. She is the daughter of a prominent business man. Snobby and catty, she has her sights set on Chris and makes life miserable for Mia and her friends.
Molly McKinley is one of Mia's two best friends. She is the strongest of the trio with a sharp tongue and angry streak. She is also a notoriously bad driver, but she's the only one with her own car.
Connie Jones is one of Mia's two best friends. She's the voice of reason and the most compassionate of the three. She is also the “brain” in the group.
The Other World
Crimson Rhen is the captain of The True North. He is a powerful mage and leader of a rag tag group that takes on various jobs for money.
Tristan Barret is Rhen's best friend and right hand man. He has been with Rhen for years and they share a strong bond. Tristan is also to resident scientist/inventor. He is a bit rough, but he is extremely loyal and protective of his friends and family.
Elaina (last name is unknown at this time) is the lone female crewmember of The True North. She's beautiful, smart, kind and funny. She has only been aboard the North for a relatively short period of time, but she has known Rhen for awhile. She is very adept at making repairs and often works with Andrew.
Andrew Mason is the youngest character on board The True North. He is 9 years old and often works with Elaina. The crew are very protective of him.
The True North is Rhen's airship. It has been in his family for years but he and Tristan have completely overhauled it, and have added many improvements since he took possession. This ship is known their world over.
Winston the Feeb is, well, a feeb. This rabbity, lemur-like creature is sneaky and outspoken. He's also fiercely loyal to Rhen and has known him since childhood.
Black Sid is a mysterious figure from Rhen's past. Aside from competing against Rhen for high-paying assignments, little else is known about him.
